Malibu Poet Laureate Nathan Hassall and the City of Malibu welcome all to attend this year’s Annual Poetry Summit: The Ripple Effect.

The event includes a variety of poetry and music performances and visual art that calls for us to pay deep attention to how our behavior and creative expression ‘ripple’ out to others. Our featured poet is James Crews, and performances include former Malibu Poet Laureate’s Ann Buxie and Ricardo Means Ybarra, Cynthia Good, Caron Perkal, Eileen Fiori, Bill Goldberg, Tracey Katz, Shifra Wylder, Jolynn Regan, City Poet Laureate of West Hollywood, Jen Cheng, and Malibu student poets. Music by The Brothers Koren & The Kin, Sound of Zoe, and A Call 2Peace. Artwork by Webster Elementary's 5th grade class will be displayed.

Admission is free, and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
