Awaken Your Inner Poet
Meditation and poetry go hand in hand. To meditate and contemplate, to allow images to unfold and converge, to relax and synthesize, to open the dreaming eye: each of these things help contribute to a poetry practice.
By calming your body, you allow the chatter of your egoic mind to fade into the distance, and you can recover the poetic guidance and wisdom of your Self. When connected to poetry, you can find the language of the heart, which, if you listen closely, sings in melody and verse.
